After livestreaming a music concert for the first time on Samsung TV Plus last year, Samsung has announced that it will livestream a K-pop concert every month. The company is expanding its collaboration with SM Entertainment to bring K-pop fans closer to their favorite artists.
Samsung has announced that it will livestream K-pop concerts every month on the SMTOWN channel through the Samsung TV Plus platform. Samsung TV Plus is also available on Galaxy phones and tablets, select monitors, and some premium home appliances.
The SMTOWN channel is currently available in Australia, Brazil, Mexico, New Zealand, and South Korea.

The first concert to be livestreamed on Samsung TV Plus will be NCT WISHâs first concert tour, âINTO THE WISH: Our WISH ENCORE IN SEOUL.â It will premiere live on May 30 at 7:00 PM South Korean time. After the livestream, viewers will be able to rewatch the concert every Saturday at 7:00 PM. NCT Wish is a highly-famous Japanese-Korean boy band that has received multiple awards, including Golden Disc Awards, Melon Music Awards, and Seoul Music Awards. The US Grammy selected NCT Wish as one of the “11 Rookie K-Pop Acts to Know”.

Samsung says it plans to livestream a new music concert every month. The company already offers more than 4,000 hours of free streaming content from South Korea, including dramas, thrillers, live events, and music concerts.
Samsung livestreamed its first music concert in May 2025. The event was called SMTOWN LIVE 2025 in L.A.. Later, in August 2025, the company also livestreamed the Jonas Brothers tour âJONAS 20: Greetings From Your Hometownâ on Samsung TV Plus. Samsung said both livestreams were highly successful. It recently streamed its first original scripted TV series.
